Sheffield Park

We arrived in Brighton on the last leg of the trip. This is the time to see all the Sussex Family or at least as many of them as possible.

So we were picked up by Antony and spent a wonderful evening having supper with the family. Seeing Max and the boys was lovely as we haven’t seen them since August when they came down to St David’s to see us on site for the weekend. They gave me a lovely birthday present which at the moment I don’t know how to use but I will download an ‘ap’ and hopefully manage to sort it out. I will post photos of it later in the week.

Autumn Beauty in Sheffield Park

Today however, we have decided to go to Sheffield Park to see the autumn spectacular.

As we wandered around the Park we noticed lots of mushrooms which is amazing as it is quite late for them this year. Nothing to eat but wonderful to photograph, I hope you see what I mean.

We played on the ‘whomping tree’ and had fun kicking leaves.

The colours of the trees are so vibrant, but perhaps we are a couple of weeks too late. But nevertheless the show was gorgeous.
